UFBA FIREFIGHTER ROAD CRASH RESCUE

Come along and view first-hand some of the incredibly life-like scenarios set up to test, challenge and upskill our firefighter emergency first responders.

See how firefighters save real life patients in crushed cars. Simulating real emergencies this competition event offers unparalleled exposure to emergency first response skills and training.

Shockingly, 2021 has seen 148 road fatalities already, so responding to vehicle accidents is a growing trend for firefighters. The UFBA Road Crash Rescue Challenge supports the development of brigade members’ skills in these situations. The challenge is treated with the seriousness and professionalism of real-life and death scenarios while providing a realistic training opportunity in a controlled and safe environment.
